My Family BOOKS
Pascoe/Garner/Blough Families
The latest volumes of the Pascoe family tree is broken into three divisions instead of the normal two because there are simply too many Garners. Each chapter begins with a grandparent. Their children are listed, and descendants continue for each child until information is no longer available.

From Gwinear to Beetown
A Pascoe Book of Generations of Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents
Volume 1
From Camborne and Westmoreland to Beetown
A Garner Book of Generations of Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents
Volume 1
The Pascoe Book goes back to the 6th Great Grandparents and includes their descendants. It is likely that a second volume will be forthcoming.

The Garner Book goes back to the 4th Great Grandparents and includes their descendants. It is likely that a second volume will be forthcoming. A third volume is necessary, but not ready for completion.

From Switzerland to Waterloo
A Blough/Crownover Book of Generations of Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents
A Compendium of Places, Volume 2
A Companion to From Gwinear to Beetown, From Camborne to Beetown, and From Switzerland to Waterloo
The Blough Book goes back to the 4th Great Grandparents and includes their descendants. It is possible that a second volume will be forthcoming, but unlikely unless I can complete the others.
This is essentially an atlas of the places our descendants lived (born, died, married). For each state the counties are identified. It includes some historically significant maps. Beyond the US, foreign countries and their states are also listed. The cover shows the counties in the eastern half of the US, it continues on the back cover.

Books of available photos of relatives are also available. They are arranged roughly by the order they appear in their respective books. Page numbers are noted.
Thompson/Gibson Families

From Danmark-Norge and the Duchy of Swabia to Wisconsin
A Thompson/Abel Book of Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents

From Pateley Bridge and the Back Forest to Wisconsin
A Gibson/Roesch Book of Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents
The Thompson/Abel Book goes back to the 19th Great Grandparents and includes their descendants. This is the most complete listing in the series. An addition family has been found and will likely be added to the second Gibson volume as an addendum.
The Gibson/Roesch Book goes back to the 9th Great Grandparents and includes their descendants. A second volume is under construction and will be available next year, maybe.

Books of available photos of relatives are also available. They are arranged roughly by the order they appear in their respective books. Page numbers are noted.

Primarily historical maps showing where relatives lived and in some cases locating their farms. Specific to the Thompson family.
A Compendium of Places
A Companion to From Danmark-Norge and the Dutchy of Swabia to Wisconsin and From Pateley Bridge and the Black Forest to Wisconsin

Keep Em' Laughing
A Story of the Operations of the 15th Special Service Company during World War II
When my dad went to war, it was at least partly to play trumpet. As a very young 1st Lieutenant, he come to be in charge of a very special unit. Its charge was to provide the troops with entertainment and humor. Humorous sketches, often in drag, and a band took the stage, when they were not showing films. All was within sight of the lines of combat, and bombs can land where you don't expect them.

Civil War Diary of Philip K. Roesch
Philip K. Roesch, young immigrant farmer from Grant County, Wisconsin kept this diary in his native language while fighting for his new country in a war to maintain the ideals that brought his family to our shores. With the help of his youngest daughter, many years later he translated it to English. Working from two slightly different typed version, the complete text has been restored, and additional information added.

Destruction and Reconstruction
Confederate General Richard Taylor, son of General and President Zachary Taylor, and brother-in-law of Confederate President Jefferson Davis (his late first wife), translated his readings in classic warfare into a success in surviving the Civil War, albeit while being on the wrong side of history.
We get here his very well written description of that experience, as well as his tale of trying to advise President Grant on how to approach Reconstruction. He had less success in that effort. He may, or may not be my 4th cousin, 4 times removed.
